Announcements 2010

  1. WEEK OF AUG 9-13 PRACTICE: Monday at 6:oo AM at South, Tuesday at 5:45-7:15 AM at Ray Harral; Wednesday 6:00 AM at the Pool; Thursday & Friday 6th hour to 4:30 ish.  Mon, Tue, and Wed count towards summer practice attendance.
  2. SCHOOL YEAR WEDNESDAY’S: each Wednesday morning we will meet at the pool to swim at 6:00 AM.  During 6th hour we will lift and be done early, around 3:15 PM.
  3. TEAM POSTER PICTURE: TBA. Girls wear a black V-neck t-shirt & jean shorts (in school dress code) .  Boys wear a black t-shirt & jeans.
  4. POSTER ADVERTISING DONATIONS: if you know anyone who would like to make a donation (businesses, grandmas, etc.)  please encourage them to support our team.  Donations of $75 or more get their name on the Poster.  Due by Saturday, July 31.
  5. DONATE LIQUID: case of water, Gatorade, or $5 for summer practices
  6. TEAM/INDIV PICS DAY:  Wednesday, August 18
  7. HYDRATION: fill up at night to be ready for next day, until urine is clear.
  8. LEAVING A MEET:  athletes can only ride home with a parent, and only if a note was obtained from your site principal one day or more in advance, per BAPS policy

GIRLS Week 12 (Aug 9-15)

NEW RUNNERS ONLY RUN 3/4 OF WHAT IS LISTED, AND DO NOT DO THE PM RUNS (new runners only run once daily).

GIRLS: Run slow things slow and fast things fast.  Stick to the plan.

Schedule:  mid mileage week

MON:    6:00 AM @ South (field, farm)

TUE:    5:45-7:15 AM meet at Ray Harral

WED:     6:00 AM @ Pool; DON”T RUN TODAY

THU:     6th hour at the track, start at 2:10 until about 4:30 PM

FRI:       6th hour at the track, start at 2:10 until about 4:30 PM

SAT:        possible time trial in the early AM

SUN:        off – DO NOT RUN.
